Surgery
For those with surgical needs, we perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as robotic surgery, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy and more.
Our physicians are Board Certified and have privileges at both South Lake Hospital in Clermont and Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando. Surgeries are performed at both locations, and some minor procedures will be performed at our new state-of-the-art surgical center at our Women’s Centre for Excellence main campus in Clermont.

Menstrual Cycle Control
Women often use oral contraceptive pills for reasons other than birth control. The Pill comes in a variety of dosages and even routes. A hormone patch, vaginal ring and even a subcutaneous injection are now available.
Each method utilizes hormones that are similar to those made in a woman’s body, to control the monthly hormone cycle. This makes periods predictable, lighter and less uncomfortable.
Other health benefits include less acne, less anemia, improved fertility in the future, decreased risk of ovarian and endometrial cancer.
Women with a history of blood clots (deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism) should not use hormones.
