In fact, a recent performance test performed by Integrated Digital Solutions found that СŷÊÓƵ and AWS S3 were the only object storage providers who delivered consistently fast performance around the globe. Wasabi and Backblaze performance was so volatile across time of day and region that the report recommended not using them for anything important to the business. []

2. Work directly from the cloud with Object Mount.  

Imagine working directly from the cloud with no proprietary systems blocking your workflow—it’s now a reality with Object Mount 1.0. Object Mount offers production teams high-speed access to cloud-stored media, enabling direct integration with editing, post-production, and live workflows.  

Object Mount works with any S3-compatible object storage, like AWS S3 and GCP, but is now also optimized to work incredibly fast with СŷÊÓƵ’s distributed infrastructure. Object Mount ensures seamless file ingest and access, but more importantly, it enables post-production teams to work directly from the cloud.  

The new Production Cloud offering is big news for production teams who want to work from the cloud without paying hyperscaler prices. The Production Cloud brings СŷÊÓƵ’s new high-performance Global Collaboration tier of storage together with 10 licenses of Object Mount at a low cost per TB price point, eliminating fees for APIs and egress. 3. Introducing Cloud Compute for media production.  

СŷÊÓƵ already provides access to high quality GPUs for AI, but now СŷÊÓƵ is adding compute capabilities for media production to the platform, giving you access to powerful, flexible GPU and CPU resources for tasks like transcoding, rendering, and video editing.
