Kristina M. McLean, M.D., FACOG, Board Certified

Member of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons

Dr. McLean graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors degree in chemistry in 1994. After graduating from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 1999, she was a resident at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida until 2003. During her residency, she received extensive training in infertility as well as obstetrics and gynecology. In the fall of 2003, she began her private practice in South Lake County, specializing in obstetrics, gynecology and infertility.

Dr. McLean belongs to the Florida Medical Society, American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, International Society of Cosmetogynecology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists. Her personal interests include travel, tennis, jogging, hiking, biking and whitewater rafting. She resides in South Lake County with her husband and three children, Grant, Cole and Sophie.

Mary Beth Lewis-Boardman, M.D., FACOG, Board Certified

Member of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons

Dr. Lewis-Boardman graduated from Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, PA, with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry in 1994. After graduating from Cornell University Medical College in 1998, she was a resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York until 2002. During her residency, she received extensive training in high-risk obstetrics, infertility and adolescent gynecology. In the fall of 2002, she began working in private practice in general obstetrics and gynecology in New York. She and her husband, Dr. Jason Boardman, a general surgeon, relocated to Clermont in 2005 where she continues her private practice in obstetrics, gynecology and infertility.

Dr. Lewis-Boardman belongs to the Florida Medical Society, American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, International Society of Cosmetogynecology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists. Her personal interests include golf, running, swimming, boating and quiet time with family. She lives in South Lake county with Dr. Boardman and their daughter, Annabella and son, Samuel.

Debra M. Ortiz, MD, FACOG

Dr. Debra Ortiz graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Sciences. Dr. Ortiz continued her education and medical training at The Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in Mexico, and received her Diploma of Surgery & Medicine there.

Dr. Ortiz had residencies at New York Medical College, Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital and Richmond University Medical Center, where she completed her residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Ortiz is the recipient of many awards and has been recognized with Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, she was the OB/GYN Intern of the Year in 2009, and she was honored with the Agustin N. Ravelo, MD Award. She is fluent in English as well as Spanish.

Alana McGee, MD, FACOG

Dr. Alana McGee graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She went on to The Ohio State University College of Medicine to receive her medical degree. She completed residency at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in 2013, where she had extensive training in high risk obstetrics, as well as minimally invasive surgery and infertility.

Dr. McGee grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and knew medicine was in her future from an early age. As the daughter of an orthopedic surgeon, she was exposed to the hospital environment and would often accompany her father on rounds. She is the oldest of five siblings, two of whom are also pursuing medicine as a career. She knew obstetrics and gynecology was her path because she values long-term patient care. Some of Dr. McGee’s personal interests include spending time with friends and family and salsa dancing.

 

Giselle Torres, M.D.

Dr. Torres completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.  She achieved her undergraduate degree at Brown University.

She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Torres will start seeing patients in our Clermont office beginning September.  She is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish fluently.

 

Tiffany M. Knightly, DNP

Tiffany Knightly is a Doctor of Nurse Practitioner who received both her Family Nurse Practitioner degree and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida. Tiffany grew up in Rockford, Illinois and moved to Florida in 2002 to attend USF. A strong interest in women’s health care led Tiffany to nursing school, where she quickly decided that she wanted to be a labor and delivery nurse.

She has worked at Osceola Medical Center in both Labor and Delivery and the Mother/Baby Unit, where she also provided patients with care and education about breastfeeding and mother and baby bonding. Recognizing the need for a female advocate for women’s health care issues, Tiffany decided to pursue an advanced degree as a Nurse Practioner. She also broadened her skills with specialized training in laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation.

She married her husband Bryan on May 1, 2010, and they live in Orlando with their daughter. In her free time, Tiffany loves to travel, exercise, and enjoy Florida’s wonderful beaches.

Patient Care Philosophy

When working with patients, Tiffany emphasizes her role as an educator and women’s advocate. She has a special interest in working with young women to help them understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle and how to make small changes that can yield big results. She also takes a personalized approach in helping women understand various birth control options and how each one fits with their needs, health concerns, and lifestyle.
